You can just say you don't like something without trying to mask it as criticism. Sakana-sen's characters aren't bad or fundamentally bad in any way and just 'cause there's a design pattern doesn't mean they are bad at making characters either. Plenty of her characters stand out on their own.

Brother, that person never said Savana was bad at drawing characters or anything. Same face syndrome is an issue some artist have, a bad habit you could call it, and a fair criticism. Stop putting words in other people’s mouth. If you want more examples of character designs that don’t change that much go look at megane’s works, though well at least those have more varied storylines.
