What heck?? Too many plot hole and actually hole that seem skip some scene. Beginning is good but then in middle and end just wtf many moment and there many drama but not solve it. Just straight happy end without explain how it solve.
it review for only compare between "The Tyrant’s Only Perfumer" novel and webtoon. It not heavy negative at webtoon just "oh it not same" moment.
First of all, I only read up to novel's english translate up to ch 27 and after that MTL plus spoiler forum. novel ch 27 is her own shop opening event which is after webtoon ch 20.
I do enjoy webtoon as their own pace and webtoon tend short event that common but it was little disappointing since I read webtoon before novel. I was surprise when i was reading novel. Webtoon change a lot scene from novel plus include MC have blond hair not pink.
For example of event how MC able to get ML invest in her shop, on webtoon (ch 18) ML went to mc help but first ask her to show her idea marketing while in novel (ch 20) MC went to ML to seek his invest by marketing her business.
like her own store market event is change she did wait for her first customer not like it was instant right there outside of shop. webtoon ch 20 vs novel ch 23
Another example, her escort knight even didn't show his face that early and he always wear armor and when he does off helmet because he disguised as a customer at her shop. (from spoiler forum)
Overall, webtoon is not same with novel so if anyone want read novel will need read ch 1 since pretty much small and big details are change in some way. But it not mean that webtoon lousy, I do like so far i will keep read both version just warning and share my opinion.
My my opinion review between novel and webtoon is not about negative but noticed that webtoon have their own version.
