i haven’t read the last few chapters cuz i’m waiting for the comments to indicate jaekyung is showing some semblance of character development and i’m unsurprised to see there is none ╮(￣▽￣)╭ i stg there better be groveling later
unpopular opinion but while i wasn’t totally satisfied with the ending, i do think the “quietness” of it suits kwon. it was never going to be an explosive ending with a bunch of feelings on his end; the entire story showcased how reserved and aloof he is. i don’t think it was without flaw by any means, but i do think it could have been worse.
what bothers me the most is where they were walking down the beach and kwon was on the left and then, with no transition whatsoever, was suddenly on the right lmao. usually i ignore stuff like that but the whole scene i was like when tf did he even get over there

here’s my theory
bada’s full name is pi bada which translates to bloodbath, per the first chapter. it could be a tongue in cheek way to pay homage to the fact he’s a primary character in a horror game/BL, but i also wonder if he’s somehow connected to the massacre that took place in the game years prior, aka the sole surviving member of the murdered family and has some connection to the killer. i’m not convinced at this point he’s not just a self aware character himself; he really has no memories of his “real” life so how do we know they really exist? his character backstory may be tied into the game backstory and amnesia is just part of his character.
i’m not sold on it 100% but that’s my working theory for meow
