Even after reading the novel, it still amazes me that the firefighters are much bigger assholes than Grayson at the beginning. At least Grayson's behavior seems to stem from some kind of psychological disorder. The firefighters, on the other hand, are assholes by choice. They're just insecure guys whose fragile egos can't handle the fact that Grayson essentially bought his way into the same position (temporarily, btw) while still being far more successful with women.
Yeah, Grayson wasnt even thinking about being an asshat until they started throwing punches first. And the way they got mad at the girls as if it was there faults, like nah bro, they just dont like you. Why you gotta be such a sourpuss about it?
I actually like the concept.
I hate the fact that he's manipulating him and everything, but at the same time, I can understand where he's coming from. He doesn't just romanticize the idea that your partner is decided the moment each other's names appear on your bodies (fated partners blablabla). I mean, you have absolutely no say in it at all; your feelings and everything else are supposedly determined by it. It's not because you find the other person handsome or think they're a good person, but because each other's names are written on your bodies. I'd be curious to see just how far that influence actually goes as well.
But again, I really hope Han-yeong protects himself and doesn't get hurt (too much) because of him...
BUT it does feel unethical, because hanyeong has no idea that hes part of the ‘experiment’ or has a name at all (though obv the experiment wouldnt work if he knew). idk how to feel

Nanjo beat the shit out of Mokyeon because he outed him during their threesome with Sunhwa, which was the thing he was most afraid of ! And then to prevent him from going after Sunhwa to have a chance to explain, MK fucked him so deep he forced him to pass out. Yeah, those 2 had a deal, as messed up as it was, but Mokyeon threw everything out of the window to selfishly satisfy his own desires and obsession, with no regards for what Nanjo wanted. And to be honest Nanjo was really patient, Mokyeon could have been decked way earlier (for example when he almost made Sunhwa suffocate under the pillow out of jealousy during another threesome).
Punching someone in retaliation for the fucked up things they did to you is nowhere near equivalent to being "abusive". What kind of double standard are you trying to insinuate here ??

No problem, I saw them too :'D In my opinion, all of them are wrong (I mean Nanjo, Sunhwa and Mokyeon) in their on way, that's why I find the story interesting.
I'm only realizing it now. Back then, this used to have ~30 episode/season. I hope this means this dead-end plot will be over soon, and not that they're planning to drag it out for two whole seasons...
