I've always imagine this novel on a "comedy manga" style, and omg the illustrator is not disappointingヾ(☆▽☆)
the novel is depressing as hell so I think making the manga as silly as possible is the way to go to balance out the novel's insanity. I think it's definitely the kind of story that is better portrayed in a visual novel.
