well yeah, yaoi smut is kink content by default, nobody is claiming otherwise and that wasn't my point. the story is not meant to be a feel-good romance, it's clearly written to be disturbing to the reader and that's my whole point. something being kink content doesn't remove other nuance from it
also i mean it is also a short story, so it won't have the same amount of depth as a story that spans even a full season of chapters
