I love them both, Mizuki and Kiyoharu, especially him. Because he's self aware and considered himself the worst for dating Noa despite not having feelings towards her and just going along cause that's what others say. And for the girl, it's the first time I never hated or didn't care for a character type like Noa. At first, at thought she's just going to be the usual girl that hates forever after blaming Mizuki for being dumped by Kiyoharu. But she was also aware that her boyfriend didn't really love her and yet because she liked him, she couldn't help but at least try. And that declaration she made was so solid, first time I saw a a girl character just straight up own it after a breakup, and instead of hating, she went there and told them she'll be better in the future, successful too if you will.
I hope she finds the right man for her.

The only thing that makes the ml unlikable at first was because he keeps giving wrong signal, which only makes the mc think he feels the same way. Well, maybe he did have feelings for Asel. And also because he acted cold towards the mc after all that happened between them, I mean he was engaged and all.
But honestly, I'm glad that despite the doubts he has towards the mc and the baby, he's willing to take responsibility... you have to admit he's got balls to break off his engagement knowing full well the consequences, and decides to marry Asel. And that injury, he probably got smacked in the head by his dad.

I dont get why that person thinks that shipping is the reason for "queerbaiting." Shipping happens with cannon couples and straight ships too, not just queer ones, however you dont see that same relationship bait with the straight ships like you do with queer ones.
The real reason you get stories like this with "bromances" and "queerbaiting" is because the author is afraid that their story will get axed because it's queer. They are afraid it wont get funding, views, and will recieve backlash because people are homophobic. So, to make the queer story they want, they make it as gay as possible without ever making it official. This only causes more shipping, not the otherway around. T-T
