is it worth reading plot wise and relationship wise bcs if there's a lot of abuse and potential non con stuff then I don't think it's for me unless there's REALLY good redemption arc in that matter
Honestly, Iâd say this probably isnât for you. Personally, I really enjoyed the novels but there is a LOTTTTT of abuse and non-con and Zhenya doesnât ever have a redemption arc, more of Taekjoo accepting who he is and Zhenya accepting that he has feelings for Taekjoo. But really they both equally freaked out and obsessed with each other. Later on in the novels you kinda see how similar they actually are haha.
It doesnât follow ur standard âregret and chaseâ arc that most black/red flags MLs have if thatâs what you were wondering.
Alexa play âB.A.S. by Megan Thee Stallionâ
I didnât say a lot for comedic effect lol. At this point in the story itâs obviously more a survival instinct to adhere to zhenyaâs mood and survive. but iâm assuming that since this is main character 1 n 2 of a bl series theyâre bound to fall in love, which is then stockholm syndrome. You already see Taekjoo developing âsympathiesâ and getting dragged along by the current before olga showed
I was wondering does anybody know a story with transgender character in it? and I'm not talking about a trope where character's genitalia suddenly changed or a trope where women with penises and vice versa are just like that accepted and form a whole new social group (like omegaverse for example) but a full fletched trans character with an arc maybe not fully about being trans but realistically connected to that

will always recommend this. one of the characters is canonically trans and there is a whole arc regarding that
To Strip the Flesh: https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/tooda_oto_tanpenshuu_niku_wo_hagu/
It's the first story in an anthology. It depicts a trans man in rural Japan who helps stream his dad's hunts. I found the setting (and its clever metaphor) and the MC's relationship with his father to be very memorable.
Blue Period: https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/blue_period/
Ryuji/Yuka, one of the side characters, is first presented as a crossdresser, but her story heavily suggests that she is trans or genderqueer. There are some truly touching scenes further in the story regarding her struggles with her identity, self-perception, love, family, relationships, and mental health. Blue Period itself is about the world of art and I heavily recommend it in general.
One more!
Villain: https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/villain/
It's a short BL about a boy who falls for a trans guy. I think it's based off a VOCALOID song? The major theme is to reject social norms.
- âafter school mateâ the main character is trans, itâs completed, short but absolutely beautiful and realistic!!
- âboys run the riotâ havenât read it but iâve heard great things about it!
- âhanayome wa motodanshiâ autobiographic story about the authorâs personal trans experience (with cute art style)
- âlovely complexâ just a minor side character, but a classmate/friend of the main characters is an openly trans girl
- âhourou musukoâ i watched the anime ages ago and liked it but never read the manga (itâs very long), iâve seen people like the manga and others heavily criticize it saying itâs horrible trans representation.. so just a fair warning
