I agree also. I have four kids and I have no understanding nor comprehension how a mother could pick one child and totally vilify another. It's totally beyond picking a "favorite". She turned him into someone who felt undeserving of love. She's lucky she wasn't able to turn him into someone capable of extreme hatred, then he might actually have been able to do what he contemplated.
