The moment he decided to BETRAY her it's the moment that he lost the privilege to know whatsoever happens to her.
I don't like him anymore. I mean just because he saw that he couldn't have the future he might have dreamt of having beside her he decided to turn his back on her. That's damned selfish if I know anything.
I don't know what's going on in his head, like- what's even his plan?? Get a higher status so that he can have the possibility of being with her? I mean was that the only way of doing it? Couldn't he explain anything?? It's kind of twisted. I get that it's all for the sake of the story so that maybe further on in time he can get a redemption arc and she gains another pillar of the empire but it still pisses me off
