Hello, everyone! This is my first time posting here, and I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced their comments being deleted, even when they were marked as “Only for you”? I never posted these comments publicly because I used them as a way to annotate my thoughts and feelings about a story.
Today, I checked and found that all of my past comments were gone. It’s frustrating, especially since I’m confident I didn’t post anything inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of any guidelines. If anything, my comments were more critical or analytical than anything else.
I’m not sure whether this is due to censorship, a guideline issue, or simply a site bug. Either way, I wanted to see if anyone else has run into this or has any insight.
I also don’t think I’ll be annotating my thoughts here anymore. So, If any of this matters to you, I’d suggest commenting with caution or using a different platform where you know your notes will be safe.
That makes total sense now. It sounds like this issue has been happening recently, so I understand it must be a lot to deal with. I hope they fix it soon. Thanks for the info!
