Not just his own mother, but 2nd male leads mother was murdered by him too just no way you can make sense out of why he chose to go back to him after he finally got away, even if it meant he gave up on his revenge. It’s def not for everyone, Sagold has a quirky writing style in general (her other works are all insane too haha) but I don’t dislike them as weird and nonsensical as they are. I still enjoy it, side stories included, I just also look at it with a “this author likes to throw wild plot points in” lens. Knowing he could break free this whole time and there were never locks on the cuffs makes me laugh just a wee bit. I do hate tak tho may he burn in hell

I had relatively low expectations, I think the writer is a bit lost herself when it comes to the characters emotions. It doesn’t make sense for jaekyung who was so unbelievably nervous around Dan for the last several months to just undo it all for his jinx. I was hoping Dan would mistake him calling him to his room for sex only to show up and jaekyung be like okay bed time now or something and then Dan be the one to ask if they’re gonna have sex or not or at least initiate because of his own assumption. But no jaekyung really did just call him for sex it’s really disappointing
