I feel like as much as the ML is kinda obnoxious and proud the mc also has some issues. If someone entered my house when I was under the influence of something which is kind of like rape, left and gave birth to my child and kept the child away from me. Despite knowing that the child was sick and he didn’t have the resources to manage the sickness. Effectively putting the child in danger. I wouldn’t give you the benefit of the doubt and “tr to be family”. I would take full custody of my child and file a restraining order against you. Again I’m not defending the ML but the MC isn’t exactly innocent too. They’re both toxic and full of problems.
