From what I could decipher from the hieroglyph : basically he can only stay by taking life force from our hulk. Which gets him stronger but also unstable.
But the whole Thing is that the universe Is literally rejecting his existence. Like he's a soul that has to pass away !!! So the universe Goes out to kill whoever tethers him in the living World

The black Haired ml is his anchor to the living ( ghostie guy feeds off his life force) and since ghostie guy can't pass away, it's having those evil repercussions on his surroundings, so it's the same as evil spirits : the more he stays anchored, the more stronger he gets as a ghost and the more he's dangerous and breaking balance.
So The world Sees an anomaly and is trying to get rid of it : which puts the black haired ML on it's hit list since he's the anchor of ghostie.(all those accidents)
That's why he begged the teacher Or Wtv to end him, cause he didn't wanna kill the black Haired ML. So nope our ghostie isn't evil as to say, he's just bigger than him.

I really like this chapter, I thought that even though they both really love the other, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are good for each other. And Hayden said “we won’t have a different ending than last time.” knowing they both have their personalities and can’t demand for the other to change. It’s a really bittersweet chapter, super sweet but also angsty. They know they love each other, but loving someone as they are and being a good match can be different (and I mean Hayden not understanding why Brett act a certain way and how Brett doesn’t understand why Hayden can’t go past that) and I can’t wait to see how the story will unfold for them to be perfect for each other, the writing skills are just gold
Wtf it took such a sudden turn like it was so good and I was expecting Sungjoo to get his story but we got an unexpected angst flipping the whole story down like wdym it’s the end??? My boy is BROKEN, feels like beyond turning back.. like now it really feels toxic bc he’s not in his right mind and nothing will ever be the same. Hopefully it gets better in the side story and we can get more of those side characters as well!!! I wish the dynamic they had could continue on and on instead for 100+ chapters, would have eaten it up without problem
I have mixed feeling about this. Imo it’s good but could’ve been greater.
The concept isn’t new but I loved how they wrote the characters, sure the leads fell in love one by one in predictable ways but the MC’s reaction weren’t cringe or unnatural idk, it felt very appealing and it charming.
Now the game was about having an ending but what we got from the story wasn’t quite satisfying bc it’s rushed and felt forced with the duke at the end, like why him out of all people? And I would’ve thought we’d be getting a square love or something by how it was written, it didn’t felt like it could’ve been one or another.
What could’ve been better (maybe) is that following the game concept the authors could’ve given us multiple ending? Or like since they talked about multiverse how interesting would this have been if they introduced us to it by saying in another multiverse everyone is happy at the same time or couple by couple idk. So many option to feel a bit more complete in fact.
I do think this had a lot of potential of world building and easily have 200 chapters it wasn’t boring I ate it up fast lol. Beside from the rushed ending and how it doesn’t freshly make sense for the MC to fall in love suddenly, I liked all the other aspect of it, it’s well build like it wasn’t too focus on romance alone, we even got a cute following story about the stone, I did like it a lot and had a great time but a bit disappointed by the ending
Reading it from ch53 was perfect to catch up without rereading everything, could understand the following chapter without trouble!
I think I don’t enjoy this new season not because it was perfect how it was but because it really just don’t make sense, it’s like a whole new story and characters with how they are acting and I’d say even the genre changed if that make sense. It’s just feels like it doesn’t “belong” to the same story?? Like if we had something similar to it before it’d feel like “same old” but rn it’s just so foreign.. let’s see how the story goes but yeah how people feel is valid bc it’s confusing and very abrupt
