I feel bad for Eustis but I'm also glad Philomel didn't forgive him. It wouldn't be possible to forgive him. But I get where they both come from so it's hard.
I also understand and I think Philomel, at some point feels ready to talk it out and forgive the emperor. See that she’s worried about him and all but once she realised that he knew she was there at the door (during her childhood) but still saying all those things, I totally understand if she dont want to ever forgive him. He intentionally harms her (mentally? emotionally?). I think her feelings are valid, she dont need to forgive anyone if they dont deserve it.
Why ppl hate on both the MCs. I actually love the FL and Gaon. Just not the ML, but he does have a nice face.
As a severe introvert I can understand where the FL comes from. She was always alone and seeing the ML made her feel the first semblance of happy emotions which a family cannot give making her fall for him.
But unlike pure hearted her, I know the world is a shi**y place so I never fell for someone like her and won't in the future.
I actually think the MC is beautiful, inside and out.
