Anyways, after yohan saves the MC from an acid attack, he ends up in the hospital for a good while. MC ends up meeting yohan’s dad, and their conversation kinda reveals that yohan’s dad doesn’t want to be responsible for him and is trying to push it onto someone else, and he basically gives the MC the responsibility. MC feels confused and upset, and he was still coming down from the shock of the attack, so he doesn’t give a solid answer upfront. Later, when he visits yohan and visibly sees the effects of the attack (yohan has nerve damage that affects his hand and needed a skin graph), he feels really guilty for what happened (and if i remember correctly, he’s also responsible for accidentally worsening yohan’s condition before first responders arrive which adds to that guilt). He also thinks about how unaffected yohan’s dad was, and realizes that yohan has no one to care about him. So, he decides to “repent” for what happened by taking responsibility for yohan and taking care of him for the rest of his life. They end up moving in together, and even have sex- but I stopped reading after that. It didn’t seem like they’d break up tho
