So, I have read some Shoujo historical stories, but I think I could say that I am a beginner because I didn't read much of them. But I'm getting really into it and I NEED some more recommendations on it. I have read the villainess turns the hourglass, Incognito Princess, and recently I read the masterpiece of "I Think I Have Transmigrated Somewhere" (Btw I supper recommend it, absolutely fucking incredible)
But I want to get really in deep on Shoujo Historical, my only wish it to not have blonde male leads (not into blondes, sorrey), love triangles or deep angst (my poor heart can't take it). Other than that I'm pretty open to whatever.
If anyone could share their lists with me I'd be really glad.
Another good manwha with lots of potential nerfed with the lack of sexual consent. Why tf these authors do that? Why is the lack of consent so romanticized?????? This fucking sickens me.
I mean, it was a good read indeed, I quite enjoyed the drama. BUT, yeah, we can't say that the ML is a green flag, he's quite toxic honestly, but the MC doesn't mind it that much so whatever I guess?
I love how this manga has such a weird fucking name and proposal and yet it's so successful into being a great manga LOLOLOLOL I'm glad I'm still accompanying this, the story is really great. I love Haruomi and Chigasaki too, their relationship is so good and healthy, so sweet too. I love that they give off this natural couple vibes and how people can notice it too lolol, they're such a stable married couple. I'm really excited to see the development of Kouta and Iwadate, although, yes, Iwadate DOES deserve some heavy beating.
Judging by the comments on this one, this will be a hard pass for me. Nty. Why do authors keep trying to get excuses do draw weird shit...

This was a good read, but honestly it could have been way better in some moments. Don't get me wrong, this was absolutely adorable, I'm SO in love with Yul and Reok. But this really felt like it didn't reached full potential, like the way the beginning of their relationship felt kinda rushed and not proper developed at all, they fell in love way too fast and senseless. Some characters were also not fully explored to what they could have into the story, like Prince Reok's brother and father issues, the rivalry between him and his brother, Courtier Shin as Yul's right hand trusted server, even Jung that had such an interesting character wasn't much developed. I would also like to see much of a connection to the willow symbol towards Yul.
That being said, this was a lovely story, definitely a reread!
I remember I started reading this and it was uploading yet, so I left it to read after it was finished. I saw it these days and thought to finally read it, and damn it was worth it. This BL is SOOO good, their dinamic is good, the chemistry, the story, the pacing, their relationship feels so natural and mature. And they also have such a healthy relationship (which I actually doubted in the beginning) but their communication is really great, trey're so cute. Absolutely loved this!

I kinda understand both sides, and I can also say that both of them were a bit toxic towards each other without much blame to it. I like how it portrayed true problems of anxiety, jealousy, lack of communication and misunderstandings in a way that the massge is so clear: they were both learning in that relationship, even if Jungwoo had other relationships before it was clear he had never fallen in love like that before, they were both starting to understand about feelings, trust, anxiety, them and the world.
This was a really nice read honestly, cute and heartwarming (づ￣ ³￣)づ
