the dubcon/rapey shit at the beginning was very unnecessary.. but the author got the d/s dynamic down really well. i wish there was more of a "loving" kind of aftercare where they focused on the sub or something like that...but the implementation of subspace and trust were so important to the story and the author did indeed deliver on that
