I really love this manga. I kept coming back to read it again and again and every time I would feel this "heart-wrenching" feeling that made me cry my heart out. Although, the drawing was cute and fluffy and humours were around the story, the sadness was always there to shake our heart. It's an incredible mixture making it well-balanced manga.

I wish I had come across this manga 10 years sooner! It really is one of greatest yakuza I stories. I love the way it gives off realistic vibe of places, persons and characters. It's bittersweet and full of heart-clenching emotions that makes it feels real, yet love is also there and you can feel it.

It's a simple story with no twist at all, but it wasn't a boring one. I like the way the characters and their relationship developed; it seemed more realistic than what I've read from other yaoi mangaa. Naoya wasn't be the moron one till the end, there were times when he did the right things including saying his heart out that he didn't want to leave Tsukasa's side. Awkwardness between Naoya and his sempai seemed real as well (in some other mangas, people could make up their minds so fast after getting raped, wtf...) This one is truly another slow-paced drama yaoi manga I would recommend.

I thought so too, he never stopped feeling awkward around his senpai and that actually made sense.

What is the connection between this story and Kimi Ga Koi Ni Oboreru? Is it a prequel or sequel to Kimi Ga Koi Ni Oboreru? Is it the same Jinnai the vice-manager here ?

this is the third book in Takanaga Hinako's kimi ga koi series. the first in the book would be kimi ga koi ni ochiru, second would be kimi ga koi ni oboreru, then this book would be the third.ヾ(☆▽☆)

Waiting patiently for the publisher to finally get all the volumes translated and on sale, it took them too long and it seems be longer, so sad T T

I'm not even sure if they plan on translating the remaining volumes for Konoyo, if you look on their site it only shows up to vol 3 and it's been a few years since that came out. Haven't heard anything on the other volumes coming over to the states, either. Volume 7 is already out and the series is over in Japanese. You can still buy them online at yesasia, they'll be in Japanese though..but it's worth it.

Hey, thank you a lot. I have bought some manga volumes in Japanese but I really had no clue about them. I will try to find Thai translation then since I can read it.

[SPOILER ALERT] It happened to me that I came across this manga before reading its prequel, Doushitemo Furetakunai and it made me want to read DF. But even after I've gone for DF, this one still holds special place in my heart. While Shima and Toga started off with pure physical relationship and with the love in denial that made your heartache. This one is kind of opposite and it's even more heart clenching for me. To always be with someone you love for 3 years, to be so close to them, yet being 'unable' to caress them nor to kiss them is really painful. The DF couple still got the pleasure from physical relationship, but for Deguchi, he couldn't get anything but being hurt more and more when he fell deeper in this love. While DF love kinda feels a bit surreal, the love story in this manga feels so realistic; the scenes, the faces and the situations were so alive, it could touch and and make your heart trembled. Together with the small humors here and there in this manga, this story seems to be given life. The scene where Onoda chasing after Deguchi and they both stopped when they crashed into those bicycles also does well in embedding itself in my head, like there is no such love confession scene in any other manga/movie, it's this manga's and only this manga's thing. It's simple but really unique. I truly wish this will be made into live action just like Doushitemo Furetakunai... ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
