since you're reading this, PLEASEEEE READ MURDERER LLEWELLYN'S ENCHANTING DINNER INVITATION; the plot is 10/10, the characters are 10/10, the art is 10/10, and i literally could not find any flaws in it.
coming from a person that's a HUGE critic, i think that means s o m e t h i n g
ONE MORE REC FOR YOU EHE: the story about you x me; it follows a delinquent interacting with the school's vice prez, and oh my lordy is it good- the art and storyline, along with the pacing, is very comforting, and i think i've read it more than 10 times now 'cause i lowkey read it every damn month.

~i despise people who normalise "fiction is not reality" wrt subtexts of pedophilia, underage/non-consensual sex, harassment, abuse et cetera. if you're one of those, please fuck off and get a grip. it's never the plot that's the problem, it's the values you hold.

~apart from yaoi and yuri consumption, i LOOOOOVE me some good horror, bonus if it is body horror. i don't mind gore, but i do mind gore w/o plot; that's just plain boring.
i'm a big fan of action mangas with dark themes as well :D, one of my favourites is ajin: demi human.
other genres i enjoy indulging in are slice of life, shoujo, and comedy. isekai kinda bores me, but there are some that i like.

~i am and will never be over satosugu, I LOVE ME MY DOOMED SHIPS OKAY? also, i'm a goge shipper for maaaaaany reasons hehehehe. i write about 'em on ao3 sometimes, but i usually tend to read fanfics 'cause writing 'em takes up a looooot of my time.

~for some reason, i've really been into supernatural media lately; like vamps and demons, especially with homoerotic subtexts like "interview with the vampire" and "jennifer's body".

~i draw a LOT but i suck at colouring. i'm good at painting with watercolours and acrylics, but alcohol markers? they highkey just hate my existence -_-

~i LOVE going out for runs oml; i'm that one person who's always out and just frolicking around without a care #swag

~if i had to choose one character out of aLL the media i have consumed to represent who i am, or who i kin, it'd be uramichi 'cause holy fuck i hate being around people. of course, i've got my lovely bunch of people that i love allat, but damn the world sucks ass.
