"Regression" of the plot by the end of last season but now I understand. The author is doing a great job with how complex their story is
It's about a student who used to be in a different school but then some guys assaulted him and he changed schools and he didn't want to befriend anyone in the new school but one guy was pretty persistent and then they started hanging out and the student found out that the other guy's father was beating him and felt bad for him so they became intimate and close. Until he found out that the guy from the new school was there when he was assault and he lied about getting beat up by his dad to get sympathy AND he was betting with another guy from the school that he would sleep with the student
