On one hand. They never listened to her in the first place and just up and decided to marry her to not just some stranger but to the second prince who is in the middle of a succession feud. With her lack of social etiquette skills, that is a bomb waiting to happen. And based off of my first impression of him, he is either the super haughty type that thinks it's a given for things to go his way OR he is the sporty knight type that would heavily clash with her being an introverted intellectual.
Now she is in the wrong because A: As much as it pains me to admit, you cannot just read books your whole life. B: She never tried to engage with her siblings in conversation, with as many books as she has read I am shocked she didn't have something to add about fashion or romance. C: Taking advantage of your siblings' guilt is just wrong.
To be fair she’s 15 and there’s also 3 things you skimmed over or misunderstood. One she very clearly states she tried talking to all of them and was ignored, talked over or called childish. Two, this is a true patriarchal and sexist society. That means she’d legally be her husbands sex slave, even if she’s not mistreated, and expected to have sex with someone she’s potentially only met a few times or never when she doesn’t want to. They also make it clear she was potentially never going to be allowed to read again if she got married. And third, she’s nobility in a feudal society meaning she’s not allowed to work. So it’s either between not speaking and reading all day or becoming a sex slave and never being allowed to read again. If there was more than the two options I would agree with you, but I don’t see a plausible alternative. That being said if she marries the librarian then I think it would be wrong for her to not come clean because then the truth wouldn’t be taking away her freedom.
Oh, one other thing, you said she’s taking advantage of her siblings guilt and I don’t think that is true for the sisters (I mean she’s not using her inability to speak to manipulate the sisters into anything they wouldn’t have done otherwise they are just sad for her). The brother is a different story because he is being swayed by guilt, but I want to point out that she is not aware of that. She just thinks he’s being less strict on her because she is no longer going to marry the Prince. The brother has hidden his guilt from her. She doesn’t know he blames himself. We as the reader only know because of his internal monologue and discussions with others while she is not present.
In short, I would agree with you more if it wasn’t for the circumstances/society she is currently in. I do agree though I would certainly feel free guilty and conflicted in her place though
I want to see the other beasts have a human form but at the same time I don't? I know big sis ninetales will be a flawless redheaded beauty (at least in front of God tree), and Brother Alligator will be a wild and rugged handsome man with a scar down his face. But I don't think I could bear the disappointment if that doesn't happen.
You did NOT just tell her how to live her life!?
