Honestly, I like how quick the plot is going right now. This villain means business and a lot of times they drag (although it is a bit dragged, but I don't mind, its not as bad as some others, love this story). But definitely a good villain!! (Good as in keeps us wondering/suspense lol)

some stories would give a sob story for their actions but Laila PLUS her kind itself seek to destroy the world. that's their one track mind, just like a plague, there's no "oh we are victims of injustice", their power is literally sucking ppl's life/soul for power
This art style looks super familiar, does anyone know if the author has other works? Or maybe I'm just confusing it?? Idk the flowy hair makes me think of this one where the mc has red hair? I could be wrong tho..
the same artist drew "My gently raised beast" and "My Husband Changes Every Night" i also think the art looks similar to "My Husband Hides His Beauty" but its not the same artist on this one (=・ω・=)
