I agree with some others. She's an all elemental. So I think they should show at least a scene or two where she's cultivating, and that she's cultivating with all her elements. In a way I think it's both. His sole is split and she's supposed to help him find it; the other guy has something wrong with his sole. Plus I think they resemble each other.
