honestly i hate love triangles so i don’t rlly read that genre BUT all the stories i’ve actually finished ended up with the mc dating with the dude who appeared first. bc i always end up with 2nd male lead syndrome i began reading this adorable little story in anno domini 2022 with an approach that i just have to like the 1st dude that appears no matter what & everythings gonna be ok. after 4 mf years it turns out that i was wrong. fuck love triangles man i’m never reading this shitty ass genre again

bc mangago deleted our notes/comments idk where ive finished reading (last chapter ive bought on the official site was 78 but i kept reading here :// ) and now idc anymore but i'm curious about some stuff so someone please tell me - why tj was in jail only for 2 years? like im not a lawyer but considering his criminal activity what kind of sentence is that? he literally killed bunch of ppl a few chapters ago, was that situation covered up? also doesnt he have like. a lot of enemies who would like to kill him rn? is leaving the gang even possible for someone with his position? he probably knows a lot of stuff that could destroy other organisations/put many ppl in jail with a life sentence, idk it doesnt make sense they just let him go like that... so what happened?

okay so tj actually killed most of his enemies, and like im hoping for doyak to actually expand on what he actually went in for. the people he killed were members of the gang, so i do think he had a plan to get away w that. & yes he obv also has connections, its implied that Harry hunter helped him, he's the detective whose daughter tj sponsored ??? I think ? for her treatment
As long as what they charged him with hasn't been made clear, I took it as him basically having the same sentencing as Ian because the author thought it was poetic. You can’t convinct anyone without evidence and with the years of abuse Ian suffered, and the people he killed over the years, he also only ended up with two years because they had people in their pockets. Hell, he was meant to serve less time than that. So I don’t believe TJ was charged for the wedding debacle. Most people at that wedding were people who wanted him dead to begin with (the bride most of all), so it could be that it was circumstantial or it could be for another crime entirely. As long as we’re not told what the charge was though, I think it really just was the author wanting to be poetic with the 2 years.
