I think the undoing of somyeong’s mom is legitimately empathy/sympathy. I know that she’s the smartest fucking psychopath ever, but I think anyone who really knows her mom knows that she doesn’t act with any real kindness or sincerity. outside of favors and debts, somyeong’s mom doesn’t have any real loyalty towards her.
obviously somyeong shows similar traits to her mom like passively distrusting others and assigning a value to actions, but the difference lies in the fact that she doesn’t intend to “leech off” or feed off of other people. I dont think she even feels good about being controlling, she does it because she thinks it’s necessary from a concern of safety for herself or someone else. it’s the lack of judgement and cruelty that makes her calculative side unique, though that’s not to say we haven’t seen a cruel side to her esp with the stalker arc. that arc is definitely an exception though, cause he was literally gonna throw acid at her face + she did exaggerate her schematics because she believed that her mom would kill the guy if it continued
i thought akira was a girl so i was wondering when we would be seeing his v-line appear through his pants but then i realized he’s a dude so it’s not gonna happen
but honestly after realizing he’s a guy i do wish we could get some butt shots from him
