I know this leans more towards comedy but I really liked the romance here, it’s simple and straight to the point, no unnecessary and stretched out misunderstandings and it felt pretty natural, highly recommended read!

Genuinely such a nice, funny (hot) and short read, not much unnecessary drama and the misunderstanding isn’t stretched out to the point that it becomes annoyingly frustrating. I freaking love bls that manage to write couples that have funny dynamics like these where the friendship feels so natural lol, highly recommended
I also lovee that they’re both buff but still pretty in a sea of overly feminine and petite bottoms
of course that so called first love just so conveniently happens to be her with a different appearance and she forgot for some reason, of fucking course
This manhwa deals with a number of heavy and uncomfortable themes but beyond that is a pretty decent story, Anette and John are extremely damaged people who are flawed in their own ways and their traumas feel fleshed out along with the other characters.
Overall it’s a pretty solid read if you can get past the disturbing themes and the art was pretty great at capturing the theme of the story, I binged this in like two days since reading their dynamic was pretty interesting but man putting things aside these two were freaky aside from the incest stuff
I’m pretty sure we’re all thinking of that manga but this one is also pretty nice, I do think that it left a bunch of unsettled plot points like if Maria ever got back home or just stayed and got together with the prince and what that head priest’s problem was, but yeah I guess unlike that one they didn’t really expand much on the world building but focused more on the plot, it’s a decent, quick read.
This man was a genuine piece of shit lol, it’s not even some misunderstood trope he’s just one hell of a white lotus but I love him for it.
Despite popular opinion I actually like the FL too but the ML just carried this manhwa, despite it being their love story it focuses more on Aseph’s past and mystery, I’m also pretty curious as to how he ever met the prince.
Anyways, a pretty boy ML like him is so rare and ticks all my boxes, such a shame we don’t see MLs with his design often since they’re usually for second MLs or the shitty exes.
Also this is my second read and why am I now just noticing how mad fine the duke is.
Also Almoore has the patience of a saint for putting up with Aseph, luckily for him his temper gets better when he had his character development lol
Akira had the best chemistry with Kaede and the president imo, I’m looking forward to his route
