Can someone tell me what happens to the old guys that came back and try to benefit?
They’re the old disciples who ran away, and that old man (infront) was supposed to be the sect leader if he didn't run away. Now they come back and act like the sect belongs to them. That arc was really annoying, but it was supposed to happen after the tournament arc- which is now supposed to be the current arc. Honestly, this is kinda disappointing.
How does it get resolved :O

iirc just like in the latest chapter, cm was also away when these old farts came to mount hua. they acted haughty like one u would typically expect from the seniors, they nitpicked everything including food, training, and such to establish their superiority. sect leader has a very valid reason on why he cant just kick them out (atp just after the tournament) and the disciples decided to suck it up to alleviate the sect leaders worries. however, it was just too much and atp cm was coming back and the desciples couldnt be more happier its hilarious. he beat them out literally, internally screaming bitch im your ancestor! and kicked them out. these quacks were planning to go to shaolin (spoiler: theyre not in good terms with mount hua) but cm instructed that beggar manager to intercept them lol they were scared shitless imagine every beggar in the street is hostile to u the end

I'm actually enjoying the back story. I think it's interesting to see such how complex the situation is and it really gives the characters depth and seeing how it all went wrong.

I think the only thing that I wished for was for Ahreum to have a romantic happy ending. Thats what she wished for, I know it was super realistic because she wished it because she loved her ex more than he loved her. And he wasn't an asshole or anything, but I am still biting my pillow in frustration for her!!!
SUPER impressed she didnt just end up with jaehyun! I wouldn't have complained, but it just felt like SUCH growth for him to not end up with her. Very refreshing and actually well written.
