I really like this manga but I always think its weird that Deguchi says Onoda is straight, like he's liked 2 dudes?! Thats not really straight ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I don't know how to explain it better, but I think Deguchi thinking that shows his insecurity.
Bisexual leaning to the straight side more :D
It's becuz Onoda was straight. He even referred to himself as a straight guy who got seduced by Shima (lol) so I think he's more into girls but Shima and Deguchi were exceptions
I don't know if the author meant it or not, but denial of bisexuality is a big thing. Obviously Deguchi is the one who keeps bringing it up. Onoda doesn't outright deny being straight, but he does find Deguchi's obsession with it to be problematic. But his past with Shima is kind of what saves this from gay-for-you territory, which is another problematic trope.
Am I the only one who thinks that Yacchan is only talking and hanging with Toono to keep him away from Kashima? I feel like Yacchan has ulterior motives idk he seems a little sketchy. I mean they were acquaintances but once he saw Toono more intimate with Kashima he seemed more friendly and forward.
yup i think that's it! spoilers
from glancing over the raws i think yacchan feels this kind of rivalry with kashima and wants to "steal" toono because he knows kashima likes toono
Yup. Ch 7 is gonna be an eye opener for yachan's character...
I'm sure it'll be Soutarou who has to grovel to Satoi, since it seems to be the pattern for socially insecure and anxious partners in the relationship to have to win back the affections of the more socially adept partner, and said socially adept partner never really has to acknowledge or apologize for their mistakes. They just write off their own deficiencies as an effect of the uke's inability to be secure and confident. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸 everytime...
Where's the lie?
That's true and very unfortunate. Always the shy bullied characters are the ones that need to rise up, change, apologize, etc. ( ̄へ ̄)
