I like yaoi since my teens and since I read 3k+ mangas/manhwas I could say I know what I'm talking about... But don't you feel like today's BL is mostly just some kind of "fastfood" of stories... Most of them do not have the right *thing* just some quick action without proper storytelling... Like don't get me wrong past mangas had some kind of this stories too but with today's demands it is just quick dopamine quantity before quality...
i can suggest you some with some really good plot if you want..im not a fan of bls where the characters just start fucking after just a few chapters and the plot be shit too..good bls with great plotline are so hard to come by these days but they're still there if you look hard enough

I feel like most new BL manhwa have been shit, too many shitty storylines with a shitty ML. Seems to happen more with manhwas than mangas, it's like these authors can't write a good story worth a damn. They only know how to write complete shit sadly
I do feel like that, I feel it drastically more with manhwas now that have weekly deadlines and mangas written in short periods of time as well. For me I can generally tell how long the creator spent planning the storyline based on how good the story writing is, but I do notice a downwards trend in quality as well. Supply meeting growing demand means authors are probably being pushed towards quicker deadlines probably :(
Yeah.. a lot of today’s BL is like instant ramen compared to the slow-cooked classics. Fun for a minute, but it doesn’t really satisfy.The pacing and character depth just aren’t prioritized like older works..now it’s just quick hooks and flashy drama..I think there are still gems, but you have to sift through tons of ‘fastfood’ content to find them..
Honestly I feel that way about manhwas specifically lately, its been so long since i have been impressed with the plot of one. I feel like with mangas at least its short so it feels more okay for it to be fast-paced but yeah, there is still a long search for an actual good one

First of all, as Czech I was a little bit surprised why they used the Czech language xD but whatever... Now the story... First I thought it was maybe my language barrier and I kind of didn't appreciate enough the English translation so I maybe did not understood it correctly... But when I look at the art... I don't understand it at all... It feels like we are missing some important holes and we do not have closure... Like I love the theory that they're immortal and that's how they feel the time and so... But as a "viever" I need to know the plot holes
