So many aspects of the manga got me cringing LMAO. It was good but the rushed parts felt pretty dang awkward.

Tbh I’m on the uke’s side, I’d be jaded and doubtful too haha. As adults, they’re practically strangers. When there’s a lot at stake, it’s hard to trust that feelings will last or conquer hardships. Especially if it’s someone you barely know. The only concrete thing that tie them together is politics and duty. Otherwise, I doubt the uke would approach seme on his own accord.
