Been reading on here forever just curious how long everyone else has, this is my first time actually ever posting on here. I never interacted much with the chat besides reading comments after finishing a manga how much of you guys use the chat?

I've been here since 2012/2013. I was just a reader and lurker. However when the site went down for about a month in 2020/2021, I decided to interact more with my fellow readers if it came back. But, alas, I think more of the longtime (mature) readers that were using the site at the same time as me have gotten more involved with their real lives or have decided to become readers/lurkers themselves. The front page and most of the Questions now belong to the next generation of readers. While it's nice and sometimes fun to interact with them, I do regret just lurking and not being involved with my group of readers.
I apologize for turning my answer into nostalgic melancholy. Darn newbies!! Get off my lawn!! ^__^
Can I ask what were some of the manga/manhwas that were your favourite then.

I totally get that I have been just a reader my entire time on this site. I think I have been on here since 2016 or 2017. I always thought about engaging with others but I feel the comment and communication setup isn't the best for community building but I am glad there is one to begin with I always loved reading others comments after reading a Manga.
I think thats around when I started using this site as well im glad I made a account early on cause it got rid of the adds
When I first started reading on this site manhwas (webtoons) were not as popular or as ubiquitous. They were still trying to find their own creative groove, so many that were released back then were subpar and I never gave them a second glance. However, years later, I did find a couple that made me (and others) rethink manhwas and give them a second chance.

While I've been here for a while I didn't make a real profile until several years later in 2017. By then the website had gone through so many different changes and I finally just got tired of being transported to some random porn site when I got to the last chapter of what I was reading.
I lurked and read instead of interacting because I was just really shy using this website. And, like you, I would read and enjoy the comments and mentally argue with some (most) of them. I made good use of the thumbs up/down.
Yeah, the community is different than what I'm used to, so it was hard to find a way to wiggle in there. But I figured I can try step by step by leaving comments on the stories and sometimes answering Questions that I see posted. But I do lament the days where I could mention Exiled Rebel Scans, Aarinfantasy, Nero Scans, YDRevolution, or the war with S2Manga and I didn't sound like I was talking in code. These days, the newer users are more interested in reading the official translations, so that became a community of its own that revolves around TT & IG. I try but I'm still a lurker and reader at heart.
Does anyone have some good villain/anti hero/ antagonist manhwa. I recently read a few and loved them looking for more. I have read a lot of villainess ones looking for something new. Im looking for when they are actually a villain and not just turn good like 15 chapters in.
