I think about that one expression “cut-sleeve” which is like the ancient equivalent of “that’s kinda gay”. Originates from the story about the emperor whose male concubine fell asleep on the emperor’s sleeve. Instead of waking him up, the emperor just cut his sleeve off instead to get up, so that’s where the expression comes from

What story is that? Real or ?

Real. I think it happened in ancient China. It's a very popular story.

    Ryu May 29, 2021 8:20 am

it's not just "that's kinda gay", but it actually alludes to homoeroticism in ancient chinese literature.

didn't make that assumption, but kudos to you for remembering that. I don't know though if the writer means that since they're Korean.

An oft-used euphemism during Pu's time for male homosexuality was "cut-sleeve", a reference to "the passion of the cut sleeve" between Liu Xin, better known as Emperor Ai of Han, and Han politician Dong Xian.[2] According to History of the Han, the emperor, upon finding Dong sleeping on his sleeve, and having been called to a meeting while lying with his lover, cut off his sleeve rather than stir the boy from his sleep.[3]

I know he’s not perfect, but the uke’s trying. It takes time to fully accept someone, and any rush in the process could cause ingenuity. Plus, he offered to let their date end early because he saw that his date was uncomfortable.

    Penelope Scarlet May 25, 2021 10:37 pm

It would have been unrealistic (though I guess it does happen for some people) if he just went straight from not knowing about something to just 100% acceptance without comprehension of what it means to the person and why.

Okay but why does his head look so different from his body. It’s like that one weird phone game with the horse-anime-man character

Huh, Seth and Nephthys’ faces look similar. Like...you can kinda tell they’re siblings oddly enough

Is that the fanfic writer at the end of chapter 35 of the 2nd season?? She’s been around awhile lol

Penelope Scarlet April 24, 2021 12:30 am

Just reread chapter 14 and there’s actually a flashback from Horus of what we see in chapter 61. The author’s got some crazy good story planning skills. Makes me excited for S2

    Jayjay April 24, 2021 2:14 am

Yep, it's exactly that. The level of planning in this is amazing. The author manipulates the chronology of the flashbacks so perfectly that we can only find out about all the stuff that happened exactly when the author want us to find out, and not even a second before that...They did a similar thing when they cut the scene between Osiris and Seth in chapter 10, showing us the rest of it (of how it ended with Osiris forcefuly kissing Seth after taking off his headpiece) only through a flashback in chapter 32... And it was the same with the two flashbacks in chapter 35: while the first flashback of chapter 35 is exactly the same as what happens in chapter 47, the second fhashback in chapter 35 shows how Seth and Osiris' last conversation ended, after Osiris had asked Seth "Why do you think your wife chose to marry you?": in the 2nd flashback of chapter 35, Osiris gives his own "answer" to that very question.

I wonder what the relationship is between the green guy and little flower? The big brother was thinking about his brother when little flower said their eyes were similar. Plus the guy in the painting was wearing similar green clothing. Brothers too??

    Lucy Pandora April 30, 2021 6:58 pm

The guy in the painting is probably the past life of little flower demon(grandpa). He said there eyes looks similar cause they look sad, what he means was similar emotions.

Mmm yeah I was thinking the same thing. But I wonder if they were lovers? Brothers in his past life?

“Family is the most important” but you let some idol brat tarnish your relationship with your precious younger brother??? Huh??

Does anyone know anything about the characters that appeared on the scans page at the end of chapter 2?
