It seems like he may kill Jingi. He’s atleast getting tired of seeing Myeongil and Jingi together to the point of changing cells. He’s also starting not to fully listen to Jingi. It also seems like he is waiting for Myeongil to choose him instead of forcing it even saying he won’t touch him anymore. However I do wonder:
How will he act if Myeongil joins him? What will he do if Myeongil stays in Jingi cell, will he accept that? Will Myeongil even switch cells if Hongjae is getting out of jail before him?
He will be stuck in that new cell with no protection after he leaves so it may not make sense to change cells even if he wanted to. I think both Hongjae and Jingi are bad both for different reasons. Hongjae seems to be doing whatever he is told without much questioning until now, bad things which is highly dangerous while Jingi is mentally competent and takes advantage that Hongjae isn’t; he also underestimates that Hongjae obedience can be used against him. If Myeongil didn’t care for Hongjae he could totally use his feelings for him to manipulate Hongjae.
Nah it's not a 'will turn', Heonjae IS yandere–he's been plotting with the uncle to kill Jingi this whole time just to have Myeongil for himself. The April 5 date that HJ keeps looking at on the calendar is the day he's gonna do it. He masks his obsessive love in front of Myeongil by saying innocent things like 'I'll wait for you', 'let's live together after prison', or 'I promise not to touch you' but then goes and asks Jingi to force Myeongil to move, conspires with his uncle to kill Jingi for money, and rapes his new cellmates because he hasn't been able to touch Myeongil. He might not be mentally sound but Heonjae is so locked in on Myeongil that he won't let logic stop his agenda.
