I think it is to show that even though he chose to stay with Beom, he is in reality alone.. Because Beom is not actually a person, but a spirit.
Spirits don’t have reflections prob I don’t think it has a major hidden meaning
Beom doesn't have a reflection cause he's a spirit (that's actually how geonpil found out that he's not the real hyung in the early chapters). Other people can see beom though, so he's kinda like a vampire.
