Emma isn't Kyon's mom. That was a fan theory that didn't pan out. We know she's not his mom for the very reasons you mentioned. The rest is something we will learn later--it's probably from the middle of the story.
I want answers too--but it's like one of those damned K dramas where they string everything out and make you keep coming back. :)
Everyone interprets things their own way. I think those pictures show something between Sihan and Emma, and that may only be brotherly teasing. Kids that age often have a group of friends they hang out with, and I'll bet there were not that many other people hanging out at the mansion. I see all of them being close enough to be goofing around as friends. I see Sihan pushing Emma back (and given how immature Sihan was, that could mean he likes her). I see Lucaon steady her, but his face doesn't have the kind of concern Ryan has for Christoph when Ryan puts his hands on Christoph's shoulders, and not the kind Sihan shares for Karis either. I see Lucaon put his hands back in his pocket right away and grin like the other spectator as Emma complains to Sihan--and Sihan grinning widest.
To me, those photos show something between Emma and Sihan. That may explain why Sihan was standing in the back with his arms crossed talking about trust instead of sitting down with the others in this chapter.
Oh wait--is that Sihan? He has gloves on like a servant? Well, whatever--the guy who looks like Sihan in gloves seems to be goofing with Emma to me.

when kyon says 'i should have never gotten caught' we see him flustered in the flashback. i think he means the time lucion found out kyon has a crush on him in ch-6.
maybe he is tired of it all and that's why he wants to end his life or the seal. maybe he sound out that if lucion wasn't there to save him he might have saved his parents and he feels bad. or something happened to make him do it for sake of lucion. it has something to do with their relationship. damn there are so many questions.
the chain i think is there coz that's how lucaon likes to do it. the prologue was how it all came to be. it shows the kind of relationship they have. lucaon you s, you.
Hmm but he didn't obtain the knife until rather recently, and they were doing it before he was given the knife. There's no clear indication that anything has substantially changed in their dynamic between the time he was given the knife and now. What happened during this time that would make him feel desperate enough to try and break the seal? Additionally, we've yet to see Lucoan use that chain to tie Kyon to something (in this case, the wall). Before, he only used the chain to get Kyon to stop leaning against him, so that bit is still unexplained as well.
yeah that time when he tries to remove the seal maybe is foreshadow or kyon telling his story. but when he says he got caught that's definitely when lucaon found out that he loves him but that's just me. and the prologue is intro to them so him being chained is just that, how they usually roll in the hay. you can see how relaxed kyon is and there is no indication to say otherwise.
We'll find out!
Why Bum didn't leave?
He had every opportunity, when the police knocked on the door, why he did not yell for help? And why did he hide?
Also, why in the next chapter when they went to the mall, he didn't seek for help?
Either he's very scared or he still loves Sangwoo, I need answers (⊙…⊙ ).
Hmmm well he might still be obsessed but it might be Stockholm syndrome too. I think... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Part of the the reason why, you can find when he hallucinates Sangwoo being around. The fear of getting his chin slashed keeps him in place and the internal turmoil, the anxiety, all kick in and that's why we see it as reader, via a hallucination.
Basically, Sangwoo instilled fear in Bum, with threats and actual pain/wounds. His brains will invoke those memories and Sangwoo doesn't even have to be here for Bum to fear the repercussions. It's like he is here because the fear is ingrained in him.
Other reasons are, when he thought of his abusive uncle back at his home, he felt like he might as well stay. He may feel like he chose this. He wasn't even in the right, since he broke into the house, he's a stalker and all that. But he did it anyway. Unconsciously, part of his mind may tell him he looked for it so he doesn't get to change his mind or complain.
And another more twisted reason is because Sangwoo slowly changed his attitude towards Bum. At first he treated him like an intruder, kept him in the basement and probably thought he'd kill him soon enough. But that changed. Some things about Bum made him remember his mom. He could play family. And then he got turned on and got attached because Bum did listen and stay.
Oh, and they killed someone together. I think that was atually Sangwoo's twisted way of sharing his 'hobby' with Bum.
All this contributed to make Bum's stay in that house bearable. He had times when he didn't fear for his life and Sangwoo was sweet enough. It's pretty common in abusive relationships, but the abused think they just need to be patient, or behave more, and things will be okay. So they stay like Bum is staying.
Franky, the psychological aspect is really well done and I love talking about it. Of course, part is my interpretation, so you may not agree with me on everything, but hope it somewhat answers your question.
I like the way you explain it, and I really agree that in really life, this is totally plausible. However, I am scared here that it is mostlly fan service. Actually the author may have not research this and she just want to draw about a twisted reliationship XD
