the raws update around every 20 or so days so theres like 1-2 chaps a month (sad bc before it updated every 10 days and it even updated weekly in the early few volumes when it first released but also it kinda makes sense bc of the artstyle changing over the years) ┗( T﹏T )┛

yeah and i think it's also cause the upcoming panels are hard to draw, and there's like only one artist doing it (i think their name is E ZE?) anyway the schedule is kinda sporadic but yeah i think its gonna remain at this pace rn (1-2 chp a month)

I think multiple could of happened, the art style improved so they might of changed the speed they can draw, scenes are becoming more complex, and the excitement of the series for them it is wanning

honestly it was pretty hard to find out info about the artist, there is very little info abt chinese artists and i think this is cause they could literally get arrested due to censorship, but E ZE was the name listed on mangaupdates, and all the author's notices (not uploaded here but they were on other sites) use the word 'I' which is why I believe it's a one person team

They've been in hiatus for a year already with no news or updates from the manhwa artist whatsoever so i assume it's dropped. Is there a similar instance wherein a manhwa had a comeback after a full year?

Maybe the artist is sick or injured.

But I'm currently reading the completed novel. And so far it seems they aren't skipping or changing things.

And where we left off at the end of Season 1 corresponds to about chapter 72 out 209 chapters.

So while we wait for it to return we can read and know what happens and how it all ends.

Yeah i've already finished the novel last year. It sucks that they're in this indefinite hiatus for god knows how long. I really want to see the District 5 arc with the technician.

All we can do is wait. It's not the English side that has the hold up. But maybe buying up the series will show people's interest.

The Artist is not sick, they worked on other Series I looked on the X Profile from the Artist. I saw nothing about this one here. Sadly i don’t think we will see a Continuation, I mean it's a year and the Artist is working active on other Stories :(

I think the author of the manhwa inserted it in the story to join the side story along with the main content

trimule didn’t exist at all in the novel, so you aren’t forgetting anything…
if i had to guess, i’d say maybe the manhwa artist just wanted to draw the smut early on (?) since that’s pretty much all trimule showed besides the one dream of seo yoon and jihan fighting in the great dungeon..
it could also just be something meant to get people interested in what was going to happen in the future, but after the most recent chapter i feel like that might not be it..?
the side stories had way too much important info in them for it all to just be shoved into the main story like this, so i don’t think that’s what they’re trying to do… i guess we’ll only find out once the main story is finished though

Yea i am also a bit worried abt the content to be spilled like this.....

Honestly i thought they added the trimule just to give the readers what they want (sex scenes), which is smart of them knowing that there's no sex in the main story. Kinda like giving a child candy to appease them. However, it seems like the trimule is getting more important than i thought it's gonna be and idk how i feel about it. For example,

idk if i like that Jihan (and manhwa readers) already knows there's gonna be a "fight" between them. From reading the novel, I know that fight occured moments before they enter the black portal and SCY trying to save Jihan. I feel like it's such a spoiler narratively-speaking. And it changes a lot because in the novel, Jihan (and I) didnt have an inkling about SCY sacrificing himself, not until we learned about the problem with the bomb. But here in manhwa, since Jihan now knows there's gonna be "fight", even if he doesnt know what it's gonna be about, then logically, he'll be intrigued and try to stop that from happening in the first place, right? Or even if he can't stop it, he'll at least be more prepared, which imo dampens the surprise and desperation he would've felt if he had no idea what's going to happen.

Another thing is SCY hearing about preventing the future trimule showed will def make him more suicidal as it is, which imo is kinda redundant because we already know how much he wants to die. So i dont get the necessity of it.
