I think the gay cousin he's talking about is shiraishi from "Yachin Hanbun No Ibasho Desu" ...same name and both characters at the end look like the couple in "Yachin Hanbun No Ibasho Desu"
It's doesn't show on here but the mangaka, Ishino Aya has some other mangas translated (not completed tho) ..I recommend you check out the manga tsubaki biyori... It's a really cute and sweet shounen ai (but sadly not completed).. I think all the characters on there everyone would like
