Im ngl i feel real fucking bad for the Crown Prince, who in my eyes js didnt get a good ending.
Rere was also biological daughter of the previous emperor which would make her and the crown prince half siblings and in the previous chapters when he was talking to her about family i felt so bad. Cause no where does he say he wants to be rere’s family or have a family in general, he js says he didnt get the luxury for one. And him not asking for it js makes it seem that in his mind he doesn’t deserve what rere has (i nay be reading too mych into this and its prob the author being like eh lets js sum up the story)
W the wedding invitation he clearly is happy to be included but he doesnt press for it in fear of getting in the way of everyone else. Poor guy became the emperor very young w no one to rely on except the MC family which we can see he still has certain distance from.
Idk to me its so sad if anyone read the novel does he get more fleshed out? or is this his fate
i guess im not into the younger guy troupe, i js dont like how to her she probs viewed him like a younger brother. I dropped this like chp 15 but first impressions stick. The way he calls her sister in law made it seem familial. I got curious to check who the ml was and saw it was him and was like hmm not my vibe…
