I was nervous one of them would run off and complicate/drag things on more but LUCKILY they just went for it and KISSED.
Now I’m worried over the past tense phrasing. Death, an accident, amnesia, abandoning, maybe jail? (Some kind of time skip is gonna happen and I’m scared to know in what manner.
Death: one of the two dies and this is all just a retelling of his memories regarding the situation.
Accident: one of them gets really hurt from some kind of accident or fight.
Abandoning: one of them just can’t take it anymore and abandons the other, either to protect them or from fear of the relationship.
Jail: someone’s gonna harm someone in a way that’s gonna get the police involved. MC’s dad is the more likely person but I wouldn’t put it past the “friend” to start something. (Like I could see a scene where someone pulls a knife, MC’s dad gets killed or MC/ML gets stabbed but the blame gets pinned on the other.)
Normally I really dislike this genre of romance. The reason being is that the majority are very SA heavy at the start. Now, I’m not saying I’d give this a 5/5. I still don’t like aggressive adult scenes, even if it is fully consensual, BUT, I will say that this story is pretty alright so far.
ML is a green flag for now, HOPEFULLY it stays that way. (Even if he does have a sus job and enjoys BDSM as long as he doesn’t get all toxic I won’t drop my current rating on it.)
Why are people forgetting the relationship is contractual? He is not actually cheating per their personal stances regarding each other. LEGALLY, yes because they are married on paper. The whole kingdom thinks it’s a proper relationship/marriage so he should be careful cause of appearances but between the ML and MC, they have not established a romantic relationship. It’s a farce until they find MC’s runaway sister. (This was established at the very beginning of the story.)
NOW, if you’re gonna bash the ML, do it over him sleeping with an actual married woman. BETTER YET, get aggravated that it’s the wife of one of his men/soldiers. (That’s a fully justified hate/dislike for him.)
And the fact that he is basically breaking the pact between him and kiran, ml needs to act lovey dovey if he wants the real kira to live comfortably and Him cheating on kiran is basically leading to kiran's humilation thru the palace (or whatever). He is also very much jealous of the fact that kiran talks/goes with other people so why is it so okay for him to sleep with another women...
I never said it was okay for him to be sleeping around. I also never said he isn’t causing problems to the contract. I mentioned that he does run the risk of that because it messes with the appearance of the fake marriage. My comment is about how he isn’t a “cheater”, cause the relationship isn’t real right now. So rather than call him a “cheater”, a home wrecker would fit his actions/situation better.
He’s an aggressive, possessive, hypocritical, scummy idiot as well but I didn’t feel like diving into all of his problems as a whole.
Too much caring regarding the opinion of a girl he ain’t even seeing anymore. Yeah she’s the dude’s sister but come on, her approval ain’t what matters. He should be worried about the parents. Idk many parents that would be cool with a dude who went for both siblings in a short span of time. Also if he can now communicate with Sarah he should be doing that with AURORA, bro looked mega hurt after that stunt in the room.
I’m so upset he never got to see the play in person, I teared up so bad seeing him break down like that over the matter. All that anxiety to try and get a ticket only to find out he always had one when it was too late was just crushing. (I wish the ML had slid the envelope under his door rather than the mailbox.)
The baby looking like his brother doesn’t make sense genetically cause the body he possessed isn’t related to him. But it is cute that the Uke sees the Seme as if he were in his original body rather than the current man he’s possessing.
Haha yeah! I’m not sure if you’re familiar with it, but in the Philippines we have this pregnancy superstition called “paglilihi.” It’s the belief that a baby might end up looking like or taking after whatever the mum was fond of eating, looking at, thinking about, or even doing while pregnant especially during the first trimester (or sometimes the whole pregnancy).
So honestly, I wasn’t even that surprised when the baby looked like Injun’s brother (or Injun himself ). Se-in mentioned before that he wanted their kid to look like Injun, and I think he was probably thinking that the whole time he was pregnant hehe.
Hii, I could see that applying if it were mentioned or the story was a Filipino one but as far as I’m aware this story is originally Korean. So I truly don’t see that applying here. Therefore it still doesn’t make sense the baby would look more like the Seme’s old body/his brother. And you can’t really play it off as the Uke hallucinating both with that appearance like in the valentines special because the seme himself remarks the similarities between the baby and his brother which means other characters can see it. Would have been a better option to just make the baby look like the Uke cause it kinda makes it feel like like, at least visually, that the Uke did it with the brother at some point.

Interesting how y’all are pissed he’s trying to have a life, you’re acting just like his mother is. Let the boy have sex, join a band, etc. His sister literally yelled at their mom because she’s so obsessed and controlling over him. He’s an adult, he can and deserves to have his own life. Which is why the mother went bat shit crazy on her, she doesn’t want that. Not everyone picks up their phones on time and yeah he needs to pay attention more cause his mother is insane but at the end of the day, the siblings need to figure out a way to send their mother to rehab, or how to get away from her. It does not matter if they are family, that shouldn’t be enough of a reason to continue to suffer from the actions of someone who clearly needs professional help.
