im happy he didnt forgive her. you can recognize your parents might also be hurt or victimized but that doesnt mean you have to forgive their mistakes. as their kid, they are responsible for you and they need to take care of you no matter the situation is. i hope anyone who went through similar issues with their parents -obviously not like what happened here lmao- finds peace and realizes that being a victim of your parents do not make you responsible for healing their wounds too.
