Smh stop putting expectations on the FL she is in a different story with a different plot. You shouldn't compare her with the other FL. Her soul right now is on a sick person, a very fragile one at that, thou it's great to see that she's still adapting on her body and not just magically became strong.
And being a knight from her previous life doesn't mean that she can't make these mistakes in her present life.

I'm sorry even if Helena is really a good person, I can't like her, though I don't hate her.
I can only think about the FL at the moment, her pain was so realistic, I've been reading Isekai plots these days, and it was refreshing (also heartbreaking) to see that she wanted to go back to her original world so badly.
The Author really did great on developing the story, it shows how lonely our FL feels on her time on this novel, the time when she ran away
on her way to the crown prince shows how desperate she is... And how real her emotion is... She knows the plot , so she was supposed to have an advantage on this one, but she didn't. She didn't try befriending the Priest when she had the perfect chance to make him fall for her. She didn't try to even befriend Jason to lessen her enemy. She simply stood her ground and told them to kill her. I really want her to have more happy moments than this , and the only way for her to be okay in this novel if the crown prince dies (or effing break the engagement off) and Helena get to pick her partner wisely. (So these men would leave her alone) I seriously got so angry when the effing ape slap her face , and nobody stood her side. and even got warned after.
In the end Eris emotion is something so refreshing to me that I can't help but only look at her. ｡:ﾟ(;´∩`;)ﾟ:｡

Poor thing , everything is just too sudden for her. The different language and the mannock, its just too much. Even losing a friend, it was her only salvation at that time too.
I'm just confused though, even without the bite, this people would turn into a mannock because of some kinda virus? or only the foreign has this effect? since some of the mannock are usually wearing foreign clothes.

It only look longer because we're waiting years for updates, but if you were reading this in a complete version you be asking for more.
The story itself is good for me, if you haven't noticed the ML is changing little by little , even if it just an inch. The FL is brave enough to accept her feelings and usually every other manga would takes more chaptersss before they even realize it , and accept it. (some would even give us an open ending)
The Art itself is honestly worth the hassle (being waiting for years.) especially since the style is a bit rare (~‾▿‾)~

I was hoping she'll in end up with the Dragon guy. Honestly even though the ml King redeem himself at the end, I kinda hated his gut throughout the chapters before the fl was kidnapped. He was immature compared to the other characters, He ALWAYS makes the fl cry. I AM SO UPSET WITH HIM ¯_ಠ_ಠ_/¯
