Yes they are. Actually they are updatingnreallynreally slowly but they are. And the first is already finished in Raws though. But they have currently updated like about 3 to 4 chapters. (￣ε(#￣)Σ pft so slow!!!!!

I don't think that he's stupid. He's been using this method for a while now, and it works for him. And he's under the impression that this is basically what happens in this industry. His mentality is set. Just because one person tells him that he's good enough doesn't mean that he'll change his mind. People do this kind of stuff all the time in real life too. If one person is under the impression that they're ugly or if they've been told that, someone else saying that they're pretty won't change much in the mentality.
Also, people tend to stay with things they know because it makes them feel safer. The uke may think selling his body is a safer option in guaranteeing a job than relying on himself. Once again, that thought itself was reinforced with his previous experience. The uke just has the wrong idea in this case. Maybe he'll learn from his mistakes or maybe the seme will change his mind.
