So the characters in ORV, s class that I raised and trash count are long form fantasy stories where all the male characters are basically shipped and have a lot of fan service but arnt actually BL stories.
Is there actually any fantsy BL stories that are similar where there is canon romance between the characters but the romance isn't the focus of the story?

I wholeheartedly agree with you on that. Teo is not some frail bottom that needs to be protected. He’s a warrior that’s well seasoned in combat, he can protect himself and his own (even tho Shuraka doesn’t need any protecting either) and will prove it.

It's okay you can always learn to improve ur comprehension. It's dense that ppl come to the conclusion that Tei would participate in a warrior/protector fight meant for him. This event is meant to highlight Arnata warriors and their skills which they view as a great honor to participate in. Tei entering this contest would be him showing off that he's too good for Arnta and better than all their warriors. Also, Shuraka doesn't need protection, he's probably stronger than Tei.
