I read the novel and as far as I am aware, he isn't interested in anyone romantically despite there being many people who are. So don't worry! The only person he 'ends' up with is probably Evan lmfao
It DOES kind of take away from it doesn't it....
It does get annoying but I usually turn off my brain and ignore it
