Everyone has their own taste, I agree that the MC gets shitty making the story trash, also the elf chick is horribly irrelevant but for love-drama lol. The author should’ve stuck with the actual plot of him getting stronger to change how slaves are mistreated, but he’s soooo emotionally cocky & unstable to be “king” ever since becoming free.
I def agree with that - frankly, he isn't leader material. I think the scene where he goes to save the 500 slaves shows this; things could have gone extremely badly (he should have known this from how his father figure bitch slapped him lol). He should be a general or something instead and let someone more levelheaded take the throne.
Oh but negative character growth is something I find interesting too and the love aspect is kinda embarrassingly realistic...
