rereading this for the first time in a while and i didn't really remember much of the story... until i got to the end of chapter 7, where i vividly remember yelling "APPENDICITIS" at my computer

honestly i really dont think the ending was rushed????? i think they were just going for a more "flash forwards" montage kinda vibe and just didn't execute it the best
do i understand the title? absolutely not!
