Dawn's Manga

This is probably my 4th time reading this story and I still love it. There's no over the top drama or cheating, just a nice calm story about a couple and some things that come up. I didn't care too much for the ex, oh man talk about someone needing to get over themselves. And how she thinks she/their relationship was significant. Like wow bitch you were a middle school couple for a brief moment, same with the middle school friends at the reunion. That kind of blew me away lol. They're all in college and bringing up if it's ok if Fujiomi has moved on. lmao. Anyways there were some seriously adorable moments, I absolutely adore after the fight and Chizumi says if she was a guy she'd be strong and fight Fujiomi. Sooo cute! There's not a lot of "romantic" scenes, but you still get the feels. The ending was fine, the ending doesn't have to end with them marrying and kids, we know that they will remain together.

Liked it a lot! And Mr. Ken was just too cute! lol

An excellent read! I don't do step sibling love stories, but I didn't see them as siblings. She was a senior in hs and he was already in college and met before their parents announced their engagement. Akio clearly liked Shino the moment they met. I didn't really see the problem with them being together....? I wish there was more towards the ending, seemed a bit rushed. ~Possible spoilers~ I really didn't understand that Akiko's dad.... like what kind of father wants his daughter to marry a guy who is already in a relationship and living with his lover?!?!?! And speaking of that story arc what was up with Akio not putting Akiko in check when she confessed her love to him. I wanted him to take a stand before the ending, I wanted him to tell Akiko's dad (forgot his name) and Akiko that he didn't love Akiko and only wanted to be with Shino. He only did that after he got the phone call from Shino's dad. To me that felt like the phone call was his deciding moment. Like up until that point he wasn't sure. And kudos to the author, in that last chapter I was also hating Akio for Shino, I totally sympathized with her. That moment in the hotel I hated him, I wanted to see more of him being sorry for putting her thru all that BS. All in all tho, I really loved it, even with my gripes ha ha. Definite 5 stars!

I liked it, but I have a few issues with a couple of things. First there was hardly any relationship interaction between the MC's! Like wtf?!?! With all of the other couples we see them progress and see their intimate conversations. With the MC's we don't see them alone (once they get together) no dates, no conversations, nothing. That was just too weird for me, we see intimate conversations between the other couples.... so we can see that the author knows how to write relationships and the progress of them. But she couldn't do that for the MC's? Can you tell that leaves me disgruntled? lol Hell there was more of a portrayal of a real couple with Ya Ting and Ya Bin than Ya Ting and Wang Xiang. This is why I only gave this series 3 stars. The second point that I had issues with were the siblings at first it was just a weird vibe, especially when Fei Fei came on the scene....idk just weird. I did enjoy the series don't get me wrong, I guess I just wanted to see more progress for the MC's.

Loved it! Both mc's are likable.
