You already have plenty of suggestions so should I add more?

We will start from the ones I didn't like because I usually tolerate only a certain level of smuttiness and beyond that the reading becomes a little bit a grotesque nonsense.

    1) http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/aisuru_hito/ (this one had a very twisted theme as the girl was actually in love with the older brother but was tutored by the younger one so she can seduce the other one. Hence she was like some sort of a naive (gullible?) but seductress figure) -- and the manga shifted towards a threesome then an ordinary couple since the older one is the guy she had always wanted).

    2) http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/ai_girl/ (this one has a very complicated theme as the main female character had a terminal illness but she still wanted to fall in love and consume it. Hence it was a smutty bitter-sweet romance with a tragic end).

    3) HATSUKI Kyo books. I only read Cross and Crime by her (but I wouldn't call it hentai even if other people do because the main theme wasn't hentai but there were other prevalent themes which constituted the hallmark of that manga)
However, Hatsuki is known for her adult works which are released under the pen-name of KUDARA Naizo - and this is the name you want to check. Judging from her drawing style, it seems that she puts emphasis on bringing out all the round lines of her female characters because they are really voluptuous and tempting.
    http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/cross_and_crime/ (NOT hentai)
(The hentai version of this manga is Sex Crime as it is listed by Mangaupdates website).

List of adult hentai work by Kudara Naizo
    https://www.mangaupdates.com/authors.html?id=976

Now the mangas I did like because all the plots are based on a romance theme and initiation theme - first love, first time - which overlays an intimate part, i.e. the physical aspect of love.
Hence they are a prelude to what a marital life is going to be, as they all end up more or less in marriage.

    4) Love Celeb ( http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/love_celeb/
You might want to check other work by SHINJU Mayu such as Motto Oshiete manga, Haou Airen, Akuma Na Eros ...)

    5) http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/hanayomesama_wa_16_sai/ (I liked both the male character and female character - both a teenage married couple - especially that he had problems opening up to her and trusting her (a tsundere character)).

    6) http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/chou_yo_hana_yo/
(This might be a long read but still I liked both of the characters, also first love, first time for the female character).

    7) I read this one a long time ago in the hope that both main characters won't be brother and sister but unfortunately they turned out to be half-siblings after all. And though I abhor incest themes, but truth be told, the mangaka has a subtle way of expressing erotic drawings so you should still check this one out:
    http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/boku_wa_imouto_ni_koi_wo_suru/

    Happy reading time.

Hello Keisatsu-takahito,
It has been a long time since you've showed up. I hope that you're doing well in your college. You're the fist person I've followed and almost the only non-yaoi guy here. You're special in that sense so I kind of miss you.
That being said, I was just wondering if you can enlighten me on a particular topic. Are the words "otaku" and "fujoshi" perceived as insults in Japanese every-day dialog? I know about both of the terms' history but still some people are saying not to use them because in Japanese, they are insults. Does this have any truth in it?
Thank you in advance for any possible information (● ̄(エ) ̄●)

keisatsu-takahito July 10, 2015 12:52 am

Ah shit, forgive me dear lady for the horribly late reply. Guess I've been truly busy then huh, sorry for that! Let's see, well the term "otaku" in Japan is actually considered a degrading term; your basically a N.E.E.T which means "Not in Education, Employment, or Training" so yeah not really highly looked upon in Japan. Now the term "fujoshi" is a so-so scenario, Japan actually oppose of Gay relationship in fact, it's not really "good" in their book which begs the question: why make yaoi if you oppose it? Money. Industry. Business. Either or it is for the benefit of economy in the country. I hope I enlighten you so far little lady.

Oh perhaps because it is not modern or more accurately, it belongs to the 1960's. Have you ever watched "Pollyanna" movie? I think "little lady" might be for many people reminiscent of a certain educational paradigm where young girls were required to behave in a certain manner, to become a "miss goody two shoes", to have some sort of a pollyanaish attitude (pollyanaish is derived from Pollyana, that is why I've asked you if you've ever watched the movie). That is why some women/ girls might feel that it is revolting to hear someone calling them like that especially that for a long period of time, the American youth had created another paradigm which inspired them and influenced them. Even movies picked on it and maybe contributed to it such as "Rebel Without a A Cause" (1955) and "Grease" (1978).
For me, "Rebel Without a Cause" has a philosophical theme whereas "Grease" clearly depicted both of the paradigms I mentioned earlier.
There is the conformist paradigm where the protagonists are required to behave in a certain way, dress in a certain way and talk in a certain way and the non-conformist paradigm where the protagonists break all the rules and the main conformist female lead (Sandy Olsson played by Olivia Newton-John) breaks free from all that she's required to do as a "little lady" to become the non-conformist heroine who wears tight leather pants, sexy hairstyle and make-up. Non-conformism against social elitism and preppy subculture.
Compare between the old-Sandy and the new-Sandy.
I think my poor Taka that whenever you use the word "little lady", you step on a social/ cultural landmine. It is fair to say that the model which predominates in society, propagating the image of success, coolness and popularity is the new-Sandy not the old-one. That is why, some people feel bothered by it as you have noticed (but not me; hahaha my job is to analyze and bring down social and cultural landmines to their initial components but not fall for them).

hahaha This always happens with me, even with king-of-the-games san. When he told me about his real name, I told him that it is also a dessert and not only a holiday (or is only related to a cheerful song as he had said).
I didn't do any research to answer this. If I did, I would have said it. The thing is that the educational system I went through emphasizes the importance of having knowledge.
"A house without books is like a corpse without life"
"The best friend amongst people is a book" (by the way, these are the words of one of the greatest Arab poets ever, Al-Mutanabbi).
"When an old man perishes, a library dies"
The three movies I talked about are cultural landmarks not only in the US but in terms of general knowledge.
The scope of what we as humans can learn and memorize from reading is immense. That is why I am a little bit disappointed from your assumptions not because I am offended but because like I've said the scope of what a human being can do is great. No, it is beyond great.

Well Taka, please don't apologize because I don't feel insulted at all, not even a tiny bit. Being insulted or not is something which I totally control because it depends on the way I see things not the way the other person is phrasing them. Furthermore, I am counting on your generosity to compensate for the harshness of my words if there was any. It is not intentional. I don't want you to feel bad at all (⌒▽⌒) I hope that after reading this you'll stop feeling bad.
I just said what I've wrote as a way to show you, especially that you are a college student, that you should never limit yourself with non-founded assumptions. Of course I could have kept silent but at the same time as a way to show you that I am treasuring our conversation, I brought up that subject. Ideas rule the world. Ideas rule our world as human beings. I think that the biggest achievement we've done as a human race is to assert the importance of rational/ scientific way of thinking. It has revolutionized the world and it will keep revolutionizing the future. This way of thinking can't be maintained if we don't learn to identify and combat non-founded assumptions. It can't be reached if there isn't the perpetual "tabula rasa" (blank slate), John Locke has spoken of.
Of course, I won't transform this into a boring lecture. I hope that we'll keep conversing in the future and I want to follow your own pace with topics which you can enjoy discussing without making you feel guilty or awkward ლ(´ڡ`ლ)(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Oho games you say lol? Well I was never into games. I was/ am more of a books' and movies person xD But I do have my own take in regard to the relation between gaming/ virtual reality and reality.
Other than that we can discuss the aesthetic value of games, storytelling and plot line and their educational role, in case it applied. Hence, the topic for our next round of discussions is settled but I am kind of busy this week, perhaps we can have a discussion about that the next week if you aren't busy yourself?!
Meanwhile, I really wish that you get the chance to watch "Rebel without a cause" movie. I know that as someone who have a double cultural heritage (Japanese-American), it is difficult to catch up with both cultures but that movie is like part of the American heritage. It had a universal value because it spoke of the malaise of a generation caught in the dilemma of not being understood by the older generation, that of the parents and by a disenchantment phase.
You should also try and watch the "Graveyard of the Fireflies" movie. It is a really symbolic and powerful anime movie. It is about the tragedy which ensued during the destruction of some of the major regions in Japan during WWII, and more particularly Kobe, and it bore the hope of progress as the movie ended with the image of the rebuilt city of Kobe which was almost annihilated during the second world war.
Finally, and since this is going to be a long summer, I should try to persuade you to read at least one of Mishima Yukio's work.
So what do you think Taka?

Of course each one is like a box of chocolate, each differing from the other flavor. I guess that's whats life is all about, not knowing on what flavor your getting. But to resort back to your main point, yes, yes I do have a lot of eechi in my list. (⌒▽⌒)

*Slow clap* Even in the internet your the same as always, Taka. Anyway you went all emotional and philosophical on me there, it made me laugh. But yeah, yeah it must be appreciated. (=・ω・=)

Oh well yeah though I didn't mean it that way ... I meant the earnest fervor and enthusiasm towards the object of their interest (yaoi). There is a sincerity there which imposes respect even among non-yaoi fans.
The interesting part would be for me, now that you've mentioned that aspect, is imagining the fudanshis' reactions.

Up to two or three weeks earlier, I didn't know that there were fudanshis too. This little new information literally sent me falling from my chair. I was like: "oh guys please not you too. It is enough that the ladies are having heartaches and nosebleeds so there is no need for further casualties on your side".

After the initial surprise subsided, my reason took over and I said "oh well, it is a huge fandom and one just needs to be open-minded and respectful towards all other fans".

Thank you for the pleasant conversation. Please take care ^^

hahaha well though this website is mainly aimed towards fujoshis and fudanshis but it still has many mangas in other genres. It has many useful features and though I am not particularly into yaoi but I like the fujoshis' community and the way they react towards yaoi. Anyway, I wanted to clear the "misunderstanding" in case there were any because I would never belittle other people's choices or criticize them for it. Well, have a very good day and thank you for following me back ^^

keisatsu-takahito April 10, 2015 7:09 pm

Yeah, it's always funny and "interesting" to see how they react, king-of-games is one of them, ha-ha. I love this site because it has a lot of options, and it updates manga way faster than other sites.

Oh hello, I don't think that it is possible to reply to the message which comes with the notification of being "followed" by a new person.
I didn't mean anything negative by my comment because as a principle, all reading choices are personal and should treated with respect. It is just well, I wanted to see other fellow users who are not solely into yaoi in order to profit from their reading choices, albums and lists. You know how it is. All the best ^^

No, I'm totally with you, I didn't meant to confuse you of any sort dear lady, just to inform. Your right it's rare to see people like you, who doesn't revolve in the yaoi fan base. That's the point with Mangago I guess, all fujoshi come one and all!

king-of-games April 9, 2015 6:17 am

Bro, Taka, Mangago is all about the yaoi genre you know that right, bro? I warned you about it couple months back. A lot of fujoshi's won't agree with ya'! Just putting it out there. (⌒▽⌒)
