    The technical definition is stories where a romance takes a long time to play out and the story is more focused on character development in the relationship rather than just lust or love at first sight. I usually take it to mean stories where the characters are oblivious to their feelings for each other or know about them but are too embarrassed to admit them and it leaves readers dying to see the characters just admit their love for each other and finally get together. I will post some recs in a main comment

    -BJ Alex
    -Walk on Water (kinda weird fast burn??)
    -Don’t pick up the soap (this is still newer but I think it will be a slow burn)
    -Why is it you? (Also newer but definitely a promising slow burn)
    -BL Motel (they have sex for a while but admitting their feelings for each other is definitely slow)
    -Shame Application (holy crap I want to slap them, there is a lot of kinky sex but the romance is hella slow)
    -Thirty Years Old (the main couple isnt too slow but there is really good relationship development and the side couple is a slow burn)
    -18 Unlimited and 19 Days (they are kinda bromance slow burns? Not sure if that really counts)
